We will only collect personal information as volunteered by you via registration forms or subscriptions; this may include your name, address, e-mail address and contact telephone number.  We maintain a record of your transaction history but we never store your card details.

The Awakened Pulse may also collect certain non-identifying information including, but not limited to, your IP address, browser type, referral source, operating system, and date and time of your visit.

The Awakened Pulse uses “cookies” placed in the browser file to help us collect general information about the behaviour of visitors on our site. This helps us to constantly monitor and improve our website’s functionality. Most browsers allow you to refuse to accept cookies. You may decline, disable or delete cookies whilst visiting this website but this may affect the usability of the site.

2. Using your personal data

Any personal information that you do provide us with is used exclusively by The Awakened Pulse to inform you of current and future activities relating to the The Awakened Pulse as described in this website (yoga class, kundalini activation, events, workshops, etc). We use legitimate business interest and will treat the personal information that you have supplied to us in accordance with our responsibilities under the General Data Protection Regulation Act 2018 as it applies in the EU, and will not pass it to any outside organisations or individuals unless we are required to do so by law.

We will not share any personal details with any other third parties without your agreement, unless required in order to fulfil our contract with you, or allowed by law.  The Awakened Pulse uses industry standard technology to ensure the security of your data, and makes every effort to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of any data provided to us.

Data transmission over the internet is inherently unsecure and no transmission can be guaranteed as one hundred percent secure.

4. Knowing your rights

You are entitled to request the following from The Awakened Pulse, these are called Data Subject Rights and there is more information on these on the ICO website.

  • The right to request that inaccuracies are corrected;

Terms & Conditions

1. Interpretation

1.1 “Company” refers to The Awakened Pulse.

1.2 “Customer” refers to the client, or company who has booked Yoga Megs services.

1.3 “Teacher” refers to the person or persons responsible for overseeing and teaching any classes booked.

1.3 “Class” or “Classes” refer to The Company’s wellbeing classes, including yoga, meditation, Reiki, tuning forks, and any other wellbeing activities as agreed with the client.

1.5 “Terms and conditions” refer to this document.

1.6 If you access and use this website (the “Site”), you accept and agree to be bound by and comply with these terms (the “Terms”). If you do not accept the Terms, you should not use the site.

1.7 The Company reserves the right to change the Terms and therefore asks customers to check the Terms regularly, prior to booking.

2. Booking & Payment terms

2.1 Prices are agreed prior to commencement of service or class.  These may change from time to time, but all bookings made prior to change in price will remain unchanged.

2.2 Services and classes are to be pre-paid via website.

3. Cancellations (Customer)

3.1 Classes operate a 1 hour cancellation policy. Where cancellations are made in sufficient time, credit will be added back to the relevant account, or a paid for class will be ‘rolled over’ to another week.

3.2 Pre-paid services (including: online membership, workshops, groups & corporate bookings) are non-refundable.  Single-person bookings for workshops may be transferred to another person at the discretion of company.

3.3 Cancellation of any online membership plan must be made prior to the contract term ending in order to ensure the next payment will not be deducted from clients funds.

4. Locations and Start Times

4.1 Customers and teachers are asked to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the start of the Class. The Company reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone arriving after the start of the Class.

4.2 For corporate and private bookings, the location must be agreed between the Company and the Customer five days prior to the first class and it is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure the location is safe and suitable for a wellbeing class. 

5. Client/Customer and Teacher protocol

5.1 Corporate and private bookings are an arrangement between the Company and the Customer. All class bookings, cancellations and arrangements are to be made between the Company and the Customer (with the teacher keeping informed throughout).

6. Fitness and Health

6.1 Students’ participation in the class/instruction is at their own risk and subject to and governed by English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

6.2 The Company advises Customers not to take part in one of the Classes without first seeking medical advice if they have any concerns at all over their physical condition.

6.3 Customers with low or high blood pressure or cardiovascular irregularities should not attend the Class without express and written permission from a medical professional.

6.4 The Company reserves the right to refuse access to any Customer if it in any way doubts the health of the Customer and their ability to safely take part in the Classes.

6.5 Customers accept the risk of injury from performing exercises in the Classes. The Company accepts no liability for injury to the Customer, except in so far as such injury is by law incapable of exclusion.

6.6 Women who are 14+ weeks pregnant are welcome to join the class, on the basis that they have some prior yoga experience. We regret that pregnant women less than 12 weeks and with no prior yoga experience are not recommend to join the class.

7. Dress and Suitability

7.1 The Company request all Customers to dress appropriately for yoga class. 

7.2 Cleanliness and hygiene is essential – both of Customers themselves and their attire.

7.3 Shoes should not be worn during the Class.

7.4 Corporate and private yoga Customers will need to provide their own yoga mats where possible. Limited mats may be borrowed from The Awakened Pulse during class on a first come first serve basis.

7.5 Online & remote classes shout be practiced in a suitable environment & spacious area.
